Collection: Morganite
Gemstones faceted, cabochons and lots
Color variations are possible due to photography, or some photos have been post-processed. The images are partly enlarged, please note the dimensions in the item description. The stones are packed in a plastic ziplock bag. ATTENTION: The photos are mostly enlarged more than 10 times, which makes inclusions visible that are not or only very slightly visible to the naked eye. Please note the purity table below. Lots consist of a few to many pieces with different purity and quality. You always receive all stones shown in the photo, unless otherwise stated in the item description.
Purity table of the stones:
IF Loupe clean, at 10x magnification
VVS1/2 Very, very small inclusions
VS1/2 Very small inclusions
SI1/2 Small inclusions visible, visible to the naked eye. Does not affect brilliance.
I1/2 Large inclusions or numerous inclusions, easily recognizable. Affects brilliance.
Opaque: Stones are opaque
Interesting facts about beryls:
Beryl, or Noble Beryl:
Beryl comes in various colors, e.g., yellow-green, yellow, pink, colorless, or golden yellow.
The beryl group also includes Morganite (pink emerald), Heliodor, Goshenite, Bixbite, Golden Beryl, and of course the most famous, Aquamarine. This group is not as well known as the green emerald. Although emerald has the same hardness as beryl, emerald does not belong to this group. However, I believe that the beryl group is in no way inferior to emerald.
