Facetted Gemstones, Cabochons and Lots
Color variations are possible due to photography, or the photos have been partially post-processed. The images are partially enlarged; please note the dimensions in the item description. The stones are packed in a plastic zip-lock bag. ATTENTION: The photos are usually magnified more than 10 times, so inclusions that are not, or only very slightly, visible to the naked eye become apparent. Please refer to the clarity chart below. Lots consist of a few to many pieces with varying clarity and quality. You always receive all stones shown in the photo unless otherwise specified in the item description.
Clarity chart of the stones:
IF Loupe-clean, at 10x magnification
VVS1/2 Very, very small inclusions
VS1/2 Very small inclusions

I1/2 Large inclusions or numerous inclusions, easy to see. Affects brilliance.
Opaque: Stones are not transparent
Interesting facts about sapphire
Sapphire is a rather rare stone and is found only in certain parts of the world. Sapphire comes in almost all colors. However, the most valuable is the blue sapphire, followed by the Padparadscha sapphire. As with many gemstones, it always depends on the size and clarity. Color varieties are also highly sought after. Currently, very beautiful blue/yellow or blue/green sapphires come from Australia. 30-40 years ago, Australian sapphires were less sought after, as they were mostly blue/black. Today, the most beautiful sapphires come from Thailand.
